"Hell for Stout" ~ HFS™ Springs ~ FJ60 & FJ62

HFS™ springs have superior design features to Lift and Soften Ride.
HFS™ Springs are engineered slightly longer to push shackles out and away from axels allowing shackles to swing as springs flex. Proper spring shackle angle creates a much softer ride, reduced leaf stress and improves spring durability.
To maintain the "Ideal Shackle Angle" requires a much heavier and beefier spring stack.
HFS™ Lift Springs are Heavier and "Softer" riding than any other Land Cruiser Lift Spring on the Market.
Want even more Lift? Install HFS Lift Shackles... a great looking accessory that adds more Lift ~ a great looking accessory that adds more Lift, Strength and Safety, however extended brake lines or other adjustments may be required. HFS Shackles come in 1.5" and 2.5" heights and are required to give clearance to the HFS spring's full military wrap...
Mount Front Springs with long side away from axle toward the front of the vehicle.

"HFS Leveler Block" cures the Driver's Side Lean of most FJ40s. Leans vary from Cruiser to Cruiser depending on spring age and type. CCOT designed and extensively tested our HFS Leveler Block FORMULA on many FJ40s. We found that our HFS Leveler Block cured the lean on all test vehicles with new springs. Block w/Pin (4" x 3/8") installs on top of the rear passenger's side spring stack. Add HFS Leveler Block to top of spring stack (like an additional top leaf) and bolt down with spring center pin.
Note: The leveler block pin head diameter is 9/16"
The threaded pin bolt diameter is 3/8"The "Leveler Block" is an exclusive CCOT product.
Note: One Customer with a 1964 FJ40 had a lean on the Passenger's side (instead of the Driver's side) and had to install his leveler block on the rear Driver's side to level his vehicle. In his case, the rear spare tire rack was on the Passenger's side (opposite of later models) instead of the Driver's side. So, the theory is that the block installs on the rear spring on the opposite side of the lean and in his case the opposite side of his rear tire rack. Blue FJ40 pictured below has CCOT Leveler Block installed.

U-Bolts and Nut threads are designed (cut) so as not to unscrew when installed.
If old U-Bolts and Nuts are re-installed, then they may not hold bolt torque and loosen under tension.
